The left most conduit coming up from the ground that has coax and blue Cat5e (riser only, not-outdoor rated) has been laying out in the New Mexico sun for god knows how long. Outer jacket crumbles. It's the only thing feeding outbuilding (shop), some 257' away. Best I can get in the shop is 23Mbps. For reference, main house gets steady 183Mbps.
Already told homeowner that we'll probably going to have to dig a trench and replace it with 3-5 Cat6, maybe a coax or 2. Hell, I might just as well run fiber.
