Insurance is more for a van that you declare is for business purposes than a van declared as being simply for personal use. All of us should AT LEAST be getting insurance for business as a contractor or artisan. As I understand it, the price is higher when the van has signage, simply because signage identifies it as a target more likely to have valuable contents than a plain old van.
Oddly my work truck was cheaper when I insured it as a business owned truck with a logo on it than when I was insuring it as a personal vehicle.
