I always hear good things about Red Wing. Personally I like a cowboy style boot more though. Have worn Justin's and Ariat. They are rugged and last forever, but recently settled on Durango Rebels. They are like a tennis shoe version of a western boot. Lightweight and super comfortable. I wear them every day all day and have no complaints at all. Plus they are waterproof.
You're saying Justin and Ariat last forever? Surely you mean Redwing. Ive own just about every manufacturer. Ariat's are most comfortable, out of box. Justin is cheap. NEITHER last any length of time. Redwings are VERY long lasting. However, prepare for the break in period as Redwing (talking cowboy style, ropers) are atrocious and painful the first few weeks, but actually worth it as once broke in, fit like a glove and can last for years. ALL others require a new purchase once a year, period. I only rear ropers, always have. Only. Redwing IS the best but boy you pay for it the first few weeks.
