Hazard Fraud, Costo(s) and Sam's Clubs of the world all have small, DIY kits.
I'm sure fleaBay and Amazons do as well.
No first hand experience -- I carry my tote from the van. I use shoulder strap; easy enough and I don't do it daily.
How large is your house?
At 42 years old i am tired of lifes many productions. What i mean by that is i start out with a flashlight in every room on Monday and by Friday all of them are in the kitchen. I have tools in the shed, my vehicle, the kitchen junk drawer, the utility room in the basement. All of the screw drivers are in the kitchen or the box cutters are in the shed. I am tired of checking everywhere or raiding my day job tool bag to change a light fixture and then showing up on Monday without my battery drill and 2 dozen speakers to install.
I want tool kits with a plastic or fabric box to contain and store them. I was hoping there would be something better than the cheap $10-30 multi kits. I had a great kit when i was a kid. It had all sorts of tools in a wood tool box.
