If you still have the CCP files stored on your HDD you can try to uninstall and re-install the program. If you do that then it would help to remove URC windows registry key prior to re-installing the CCP.
Also, you can try to go to "properties", and check the "compatibility" tab- I also have Win 7 but the program runs better in Win XP SP3 compatibility mode on my machine.
