Instead of using a drill bit for the pilot, it used the original sized hole saw for the pilot. So it was a hole saw inside a hole saw.
All the links being posted are for a drill bit as a pilot. He is asking for "instead of a drill bit". Thats why Im confused on this thread.
If the links are what Fins is looking for, a whole saw with a drill bit as a pilot, nothing beats blue boars. Worth every penny: tips breaks? send it in for fix/replace.
