I do all fun or stupid useless sh.t on my tablet. But backing up photos, documents, pay and tax or anything on backup drives, I use the laptop. I also deal with a lot of old coins. Ebay is much easier on a computer than a phone. Tablet camera pictures won't cut it for that.
