Hello,

I have a current commercial install using the following configuration...
  1. Crestron CP3 Processor
  2. Crestron DM16x16 with DM RMC Receivers
  3. 16x Samsung MU6000 TVs using serial/USB adapters.
It works... even well MOST of the time. I have one or two TVs that occassionally just stop communicating. Once I turn the set on manually and then issue a serial command, communications resume. I am having a hard time figuring out if it is a TV issue, TV firmware issue or a Crestron module issue. This seems more of a TV issue but it is hard to say.

For those not familiar, these TVs are RS 232 "Ready". You must use the USB adapter (I can't find a part number on these... my supplier provided them to us and don''t know the part number either). You have to go into a back door menu and configure a number of setting to activate this.

Anyone have any experience with this or something similar?
