Interesting issue here. Vanguard is stumped, and so far Logitech is too. So I have a Bell 9241 PVR and I have set up the Harmony 650 to control it - works perfectly. But I installed the IR repeater, and now the harmony cannot control the Bell - it simply doesn't work. But the Harmony can control the Samsung DVD through the IR repeater. The original Bell remote works perfectly through the repeater too.

So something in the Harmony is "tweaking" the signal such that by the time it goes through the IR repeater the PVR doesn't see it at all. I have read from several sources that Bell signals don't typically work with IR repeaters, but in this case it isn't true. The Bell remote works fine, just the Harmony doesn't.

Vanguard sent me a newer repeater with slightly different tech that they thought might work, but it didn't. So they pointed me here.

Any thoughts or suggestions about this peculiar problem?
