I have the same issue. The cursor controls work fine throughout, EXCEPT Amazon and Netflix. I connected with Roku Support, and after a long discussion, where they tried to convince me it was the remote, they gave me a different answer. I believe the problem is in the Roku firmware or perhaps in the cloud.

Take the cursor commands down to zero repeats. Also, take out the .03 delays after a button is pressed.
