We were just shopping and ran across the iHome ih-cm 306b cell phone mount for the car. There are three tabs that go into the CD slot. You push down on the middle one, push all three tabs into the CD slot, and let go of the center tab. It springs back up, and the mount stays in place... pushing upward and downward on the CD slot from inside.
Is this as bad an idea as it sounds like it is?
