I'm really glad you didn't write "a novel of a raise request" that "would be annoying to even me if I were a boss." You got that part covered with us in Post 3!
Seriously, I hope you worked through that pile of crap you threw at us before writing (if I understood correctly) to your boss. In fact, I think you should have instead asked for some time to talk with your boss. Sure, giving something in writing is less nerve-racking than being face to face with your future, but it should impress a boss to be talked with instead of written at.
