Thank you Lyndel, I now see that there is an alternate process. What threw me off was that it had been a year or two since I had used PEP and when I download the published manual for the software, it clearly encourage to create code pages and stated and instructed on how to perform links from the code pages to the layout pages, but I now understand that it must have been applicable to PEP1 and from PEP2 on it was removed. I had decided to give up my efforts to link, when I read on a RC forum that the "links" function had been removed. I then proceeded to just copy what I had on my code pages to the buttons on my user layout pages. I just hope some other person does not fall into my same error of taking the downloaded PEP manual as the authoritative information source, when items like "links" are outdated and inoperable, put remain published in the manual.
