the dvi to hdmi adaptors are passive devices, and inexpensive. Consider trying them, and having your customer pay for them with the understanding that 1. It will not be 4k, 2. that the display will upconvert to 4k with all the related discussion 3. It may or many not work, due to bandwidth and distance issues. I would not suggest wireless hdmi, personally.
