I agree 100% the steering column in the Promaster sucks since it only telescopes and doesnt tilt. However, I still pulled the trigger. I liked the way it drove better than the Ford, the higher head room in rear, front wheel drive and the mileage.

Just spend the money and do it right. Its only money, it pays for itself. Just make more money lol. Money is easier to come by than figuring out what you want IMO.
