The receiver is connected to the tv with hdmi. So just like with the streaming services on the tv, audio from the built in tuner should go back to the AVR across the ARC. That is if ARC will work. With the current hdmi balun, when I change the tv to the tuner, the AVR changes to the ARC setting and the tv remote can control volume on the AVR. But no sound, because the balun doesn't support arc.
