Trying to update B&K keypads to work with Xfinity XG1 Pace cable box. After Importing the MXD file for Pace obtained from the URC database (code 195; downloaded and exported using Mx-850 editor), keypad IR commands are NOT recognized by the Pace box, -Model PX013ANC.

I think it should work because the same MXD file has allowed my MX-700’s and SR10 remotes to control the Pace box...no problem. And URC worked with B&K to make both the SR10 remotes and the CK1.2 keypads, right? And it has the same Import MXD commands as the other URC editor programs.

Also...When I go to another room and point the MX-700 at the CK1.2 keypad’s self-contained IR receiver, the IR commands to Pace Xfinity DO work—they are received via IR from the Keypad’s receiver and transmitted by the B&K IR router to the Pace box (as B&K Source input #1). Xfinity recognizes them from the remote.

BUT the keybad BUTTON// commands are not working....Not the "Hard" buttons and not the programmable LCD buttons...though these do work fine to control the old Scientific Atlanta cable box, and they continue to work fine from the keypads to control DVD player,B&K Multi-room AV amps, Roku, etc.

I’ve double-checked the keypad programming, re-creating a simpler MXD file direct from URC database (using MX-850 editor to export the MXD file which I import into B&K editor for Ck1.2)...and I have tried a second keypad also....but no go. Results are zilch: what kind of incompatibility could there be between the CK 1.2 keypad and the Pace xfinity box...that prevents buttons on the keypad from being recognized...while the same MXD file works great via MX-700 and SR10 remotes—including when sent to the Pace box through the keypad’s own IR receivers?
