Give me a matrix any day. With real amps. Screw Sonos. I don't want apps and I don't want to pick up a phone or tablet. I don't want my system to be at the mercy of the weather or internet service or wifi. Or they updated the drivers and now it don't work.
I'm content having am/fm/hd/xm tuners and my cable boxes hooked in along with an Apple TV maybe even a sonos for streaming stuff and of course an old fashioned CD player a input for a reel to reel and even a phonograph... along with a few jacks for iPod and iPhones
And god forbid an old fashioned keypad on the wall in each zone for basic control and volume. All tied into some kind of control system.
I'd be the guy with a sonos hooked to a killer ada amp. Lol
