I had a 40.2 do that once right out of the box. I defaulted it and it worked for a week or so. It turned out to be the DSP. DSP, HDMI, either way, it is time for a replacement on that dinosaur. :) Since it is all component, that likely means a few other new pieces as well. Nice time to refresh the whole system. Cha-ching!!! :)
