I've used mantle mount before. Halfway decent. It actually goes on the wall very easy. Making sure it is put where it needs to be for clearance when pulled down is the most time consuming part of it. Then it comes with (or used to) paintable panels that cover the mount when it is pulled down. I never would paint them and just leave them for the customer.

I can't imagine it taking longer than another pull-down product.
