I added an Echo Dot to my URC system at home. It works great so long as the dog isn't barking or other people aren't speaking in the room. I like to use it to turn off the downstairs AV and lights as I'm walking up to bed.
How did you integrate it with your URC system? Which URC do you have?
I would love to be upstairs and tell Alexa, turn on Home Theater and have everything start firing up.
