Hi all,

This is my first post to this forum, and first time using this website, so forgive me if this type of thread already exists. I've done some searching around and can't seem to figure this out.

I recently bought an MCM Volume Control box, for nd here:
[Link: mcmelectronics.com]

I installed it, and everything is fine, but I'm now trying to control it with the XR11 Voice Remote from Comcast Xfinity. The MCM website gives me a hex head code that reads "0x00ff" but I need to translate that into a 5-digit code to put into the comcast remote.

Another caveat to this: I also have a harmony hub. I've added the Volume Control to the hub in a matter of minutes, and the hub controls it perfectly. However, if I happen to be using the comcast remote, I don't want to switch to my phone or ask Alexa just to turn down the volume. So if it's easier, does the Harmony Hub allow itself to be controlled by IR? or does it only transmit IR? From what I've gathered, it only transmits, which is why I'm trying to convert this code that is on MCM's website. I also emailed MCM to ask them for the IR code for the device but they haven't responded yet, so I figured I'd post here and see if anyone could help. :)

Thanks so much, have a great day.

Rocco
