I think the first one replaced an earlier version AppleTV, and the URC remote that was programmed for the earlier version worked for the new one.

The last two started from scratch, both using the Siri remote. Once I started using the Siri remote, it seemed to be paired to where I could not get the unit to accept IR.

Am I right that leaving the Siri Remote in the box is going to give success, but pairing it opens a can of worms?

So I figured I'd get an answer to this question, which is sort of key.

After all the razzing you gave Ernie for not putting in Apple TVs, I was sure you would have a wealth of knowledge to share here. Do you guys make any money doing this? lolol
