Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays everyone.

Looks like for once the shoe maker is getting some new shoes. I'm looking at a couple of the local big box fliers and am concidering two TVs within $100 of each other. One 1080p and one 4K. I was hoping some one would weigh in and offer an opinion.

My system consists of:
Sony KDL-46NX800
Marantz SR-9600
Apple TV 3
PS3
PS4
WiiU

I'm looking to replace my 46" with either the Sony KDL60w630B/2 or the LG 60UH6030. I read some decent reviews of the Sony and with the age of my gear the fact that it's 1080p doesn't bother me at all. My receiver won't be getting a 4K upgrade ANY time in the near future. Likely not before the new tv is due for a replacement again. So do I really benefit from jumping to 4K display now? I don't think so but it's half price so I'm concidering just because of that.

My instinct says get the Sony.

Thanks for taking the time to weigh in.

Craig
My wife says I can't do sarcasm. She says I just sound like an a$$hole.
