You may be at fault as much as he. He was hired to add a switch. You were hired to put in a lighting system. Why didn't your client know that you needed to be involved in any lighting additions?
It is a new house. The electrician was wiring the entire house. Not just adding a light. He was also wiring the lighting for the lighting system. Anyone with a brain would have thought to involve us in lighting decisions
