Just curious as to your locations.
I lived in Southern California most of my life, never a problem with my remotes. Moved to Kentucky where humidity runs rampant, my remotes goed up in a matter of months, cleaned them, they goed back up.
Moved back to Southern California, cleaned them, never a problem again.
