Ok now this is interesting... I just went and created and entirely new remote control configuration, and just added in the Yamaha devices fresh.

They work fine!

So I need to figure out what is wrong with my old configuration, or maybe just scrap it and start over.

I had replaced my Denon receiver, so there was a lot of things that got kind of screwed up with that config.
