I know when I am dealing with Apple TV 4 devices in AV systems for work I tend to use the Apple TV 4 CEC module in the Crestron database.

I don't have experience with Prodigy but if you have any means of sending CEC messages these are the commands:

Select: \x04\x44\x00
Up: \x04\x44\x01
Down: \x04\x44\x02
Left: \x04\x44\x03
Right: \x04\x44\x04
Menu: \x04\x44\x0D
Home: \x04\x44\x10
Play\Pause: \x04\x44\x44
User Control Released: \x04\x45

\x means the next two characters of hex.
