You could get creative and put something in the other spot. Maybe an occupancy/vacancy sensor that you can use to trigger events? Or if you need more buttons, put in a C4 2 button kp and use it just for volume. Otherwise, the other options shown here would work.... Or just be lazy and use a decora blank. :)
