Specifically, what doesn't match about the wires?

Are you certain the old supply used ATX switching and wasn't hard switched from the rear? It's slightly odd that the supply is specifically referenced on the net as a Dahua DVR power supply, as if its a custom model only for that purpose, and not just a generic off-the-shelf part.

It's also possible the old power supply took something out on the motherboard when it quit.
