I need to mount two 75" LG LED TVs side-by-side on drywall screwed directly to a Fox Blocks (insulated concrete forms) wall in a basement. The mounts will be Strong tilt or flat razor mounts.
My thought is to remove a portion of drywall that is larger than each mount but smaller than the display, and in its place screw a piece of 5/8" plywood to the plastic strips inside the Fox Blockd that the drywall was screwed to. The plywood can be mudded/skimmed and then painted to match the rest of the wall, and I'd simply lag the TV mounts to the plywood. Thoughts?
