How often are you rebooting the ATV? Being its an IR command that tells the ATV to reboot on its own vs the possible issues of killing the power then restoring it, I don't see a problem with rebooting daily.
I don't think we have any that we reboot more than once a week. Typically the people that have had issues with frozen ATV's are those in second homes. Same people that have issues with DTV boxes needing a hard reboot when they show up to the ski lodge twice a year.
