I upgrade windows if I have a specific problem that the update addresses, if not, I don't update. I've got a windows 7 machine that hasn't been updated in 2 years still purring away with no issues.

Turn Off automatic updates right away.

There's no way ANY company can keep up 100% with Microsoft and their CONSTANT updates.

Make sure to send URC a message and let them know of the issues.
