Contact support and get the extraction utility if you have not yet. It may help, but it sounds like you are hosed. We are in the same boat on a take over job. The file is corrupt on the processor. That was what tech support told me. It happen quite often on processors that are old and have not been touched in a long time. No reason why a file might go corrupt, but that was their claim. The system functions fine, but we cannot pull the file and make any changes. It sucks, but it will eventually come to a point where the client will either have to pay us to re-program the system from zero, or replace the processor with a QS processor AND reprogram it.

+1 on the extraction tool. Just took over an Interactive job, and got the error message while trying to extract through the Terminal screen. Tech support told me about the extraction tool, and it worked like a charm.

Their explanation was that the processor stores every button press etc, and eventually is clogged with all the info, thus the error message. Uploading to the processor resets all that. So if the system hasn't been uploaded to for awhile, there will be problems.

Sounds like an RMR opportunity to me.
