I plugged the coax directly into the TV and used the built in tuner. All the signals come in strong with no issues and I get a total of 124 stations
So, the reason for freezing and pixels is because I had the signal going thru the HDHomeRun Connect/Network, so I am convinced its a router/network issue.
I'll have to look at that now.
