I am struggling to find a reliable location for a MRF-200 flasher on my Vizio P602uiB3. My MX-800 can turn the TV on/off with IR but I just can't figure out a place for the flasher that works all the time. Sometimes it will work but mostly it doesn't. The red light goes on each time the power on button is pressed.

I've tried front/back, directly on, nearby, far away, etc. and nothing seems to work.

Does anyone have any clues.
