He's doing what any good dictator would do, put fear into the people. What he wants is to scare everyone. According to his speech, he's more powerful than God because he's the ONLY ONE that can fix everything. A year into his presidency we'll see statues of him everywhere, you won't be allowed to say anything against him. He admires Putin, that says where your freedom will go.
