Most all of your cheap BD players will not! Sony and a few others will play SACDs but that's about it.

If you want a player that will play CD, DVD, Bluray, SACD, DVD-A, stream .flac files and other oddities; then it is best to go with the higher-end units that support all that.
Note: Most of the higher-end units don't offer near as many video services however.
Again, good reason to have a separate streaming box and disc player. Especially on a high-end setup.
