Honestly however, who 'really' uses the disc player part of a bluray player these days? I know I do but I also know I'm the rare exception.

I more or less insist on having one on every matrix, because I am 100% convinced that the first time a customer tries to watch a DVD after telling me they didn't need a DVD player (that's what they call blu-ray players) their selective memory will kick in and I will hear, "Who sells a system without a DVD player! I paid HOW MUCH for all of this crap!"
That said... Sony and Oppo. Both respond well to control, which is all we ask.
