The 850 and 780 editors are somewhat different, but learning CCP is not that hard. The one think that bit me when I first did a 780 is the difference in linking. With the 850 a link links to the code. You can move the code from one button to another and the link also changes. With the 780, the link is to a particular button. So, if you move the linked to code button to another position, the link no longer works. That means the best way to avoid problem is to create new devices for all the original codes and then create devices for the user to see and link everything in them to the original devices. That way you are never tempted to move an original code for convenience, since the user never sees the original devices.

Hope that makes sense. Just remember, never move a button that has a link to it. The link will no longer function.
