The Savant was put in a few years ago and the homeowner really isn't in love with it. Anyway, that's not a can of worms I'm looking to open here, but yes leaving that amp in was just a poor decision. I have an MC2E laying around, so I might go ahead and put that in, but was hoping to avoid it.

I also found an old ST-CP. That would be an appropriate use for something like that, I think. Can Toolbox even talk to that..?
