Now I can't take anything you say seriously. The MX-700 is a tank. Pretty sure you can throw it against a brick wall and it would still work flawlessly. I don't like its limitations, but to call it fragile is just plain wrong.
OK, that was a bit of an exaggeration, but so is saying that it can be thrown against a brick wall. I have heard of several that had a board break loose (IR or RF- I'll ask Phil) after being dropped.
