Hi all, new here but much impressed by yr expertise, sure you'll make short work of this one.

I have acquired a Cambridge A500RC amp but no remote. There is provision for use of one, but obviously it needs the correct IR information to be sent.

I also have a Total Control URC 2910 which works fine with assorted tellys etc.

What I'm trying to do is program the 2910 to control the amp, so far without success.

One of the guys on this forum (nieldm) had a similar problem couple of years ago but with a different universal remote. I tried inputting his control codes but got no joy.

I'm quite happy to get into the entrails of the units as necessary, the remote has
what look like jumper switch pins so may be able to read/reprogram with
the right guidance.

Any help much appreciated
