Probably all hung over from Cinco de Mayo.
Actual conversation I had with a Mexican-descent employee:
Me: What are you doing for Cinco de Mayo?
Her: When is Cinco de Mayo? (she was 100% serious)
Me: (inside my head) Your fired...as I walked away.
Its because to them Cinco De Mayo is about as important as the Boston Tea Party is to the average American. It was important but not many can tell you when it happened...helll...most Americans cant tell you what it was or what it led up to.
