Opportunity indeed. Any time a manufacturer states specs of X amount of feet my rule of thumb is to divide that in half and then maybe it will work, some of the time.
I would stay away from that device and use Crestron AM-100 if you aren't going to be heavy on the video; that will be far more reliable. This will also provide you the opportunity to sell/install a proper wifi network at the same time.
