After discussing with some of my colleagues, the 4K content from Direct TV is probably HDCP 2.2 copy protected. The RSP-1582 will have an HDMI upgrade board available around summer time 2016 of which will contain eight HDMI 2.0 inputs and two HDMI 2.0 outputs. Three of the inputs will support HDCP 2.2 and one of the HDMI outputs will support HDCP 2.2
