SBS has solved the problem of closing the door when you want to by switching the problem around: the default is the door closed and he provides a means to hold it open. Sometimes problems are solved by turning them upside down. This is pretty cool and uses common hardware.
I agree Ernie but lets not forget the doors need to open back up without the lazy fat guy getting up. This does not solve that problem. Then again, the OP said close only so maybe its enough.
