That's going the wrong way. Converting a 3000 to work in Crestron is not what you need.
Did you click on the link? Despite the wording, it talks about how to use the Crestron VT Pro software to get a program on the MX 3000.

You do know you can learn IR codes directly into an MX-3000 (when connected via USB). It is actually really simple to add your own codes so they can be dragged / dropped onto any button after you create them.
Even learning entire remote's worth of codes should only take a few minutes. That is an easy remote to program even without an updated IR database.
I have done a lot of learning, however, it is only as good as the remote you have. the problem is, I want to control my Xbox One and there is no remote with the discrete on/off.
