Fry's in Southern California used to play some kind of piano background music. One day I was at one of their stores and I heard the music coming from a phone, perfectly synchronized with the music from their speakers. Turns out it was MOH from another one of their stores. All the stores played the same music. I always assumed it was done with their satellite interstore network.
