The serial port settings must match between the 2 for them to communicate properly. IE: 9600, 8 N 1.
If the CNXLIR is set for 9600 Baud but your port is set for 115200, they're not going to talk to each other.
I did change the settings on my device manager to match those and still it will not recognize my device. I made sure that the cable I purchased matches what the specs are as a DB9 straight and has RTS and CTS connections
